Gencovery was born from a strong conviction: scientific data is a resource that is too under-exploited because it is inaccessible. In 2019, following the hospitalization of a member of his family suffering from cancer, Adama realized that access to patient data was a major health issue. He imagined a platform capable of reconnecting, liberating and democratizing access to this data in the service of research, innovation and services.
With Wassim, a longtime friend, Adama co-founded Gencovery. Since 2019, we have been developing a sovereign, ethical and open digital infrastructure to help scientists and institutions unlock the full potential of their data.
