The CROPulse project, led by Gencovery, wins the AURA Excellence Prize
Gencovery has received the AURA Excellence Prize for the CROPulse project — recognition that confirms Gencovery's role as a structuring player in the digitalization of contract research organisations (CROs) in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
What is CROPulse?
CROPulse is a collaborative project initiated by Gencovery with 7 founding partners from the CRO and pharma ecosystem of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. The objective: to build a shared, sovereign, trusted digital platform enabling CROs to standardise their data flows, collaborate securely with pharma and biotech clients, and leverage their experimental data in compliance with GxP and GDPR regulatory requirements.
Supported by AFSSI and certified by LyonBiopole, CROPulse embodies an ambitious vision: to make the AuRA region a reference territory for the responsible digitalisation of the pharmaceutical value chain.
Décerné par la région Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes pour les projets à fort impact technologique, économique et sociétal sur le territoire.
The AURA Excellence Prize: recognition from the ecosystem
The AURA Excellence Prize rewards innovative projects led by companies in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region that stand out for their economic, technological or societal impact. The selection of CROPulse highlights the relevance of its approach — halfway between technological innovation (sovereign AI platform, data interoperability) and structural impact on a major industrial sector.
This distinction validates Gencovery's strategy: to offer not just a tool, but a collaborative infrastructure that rethinks how actors in the pharma value chain share, trace and leverage their data.
Gencovery, a structuring player in pharma digitalisation
CROPulse is not an isolated project. It is part of Gencovery's broader vision: to structure the digitalisation of the entire pharmaceutical value chain — from CROs and subcontractors to pharma and biotech sponsors, academic laboratories and regulatory institutions.
Constellab, the platform developed by Gencovery, is the technical foundation. It provides a sovereign, traceable and interoperable environment for experimental data management, AI analytics, and multi-stakeholder collaboration — in compliance with GxP, GDPR, FHIR and CDISC standards.
CROPulse demonstrates that this ambition is achievable at a territorial scale, with concrete industrial partners and measurable results.

What's next?
Building on this recognition, CROPulse continues its deployment with the integration of new CRO partners and pharma sponsors. The 2025-2026 objective: to open the platform to other French and European regions, and to enrich the analysis and traceability modules for experimental data.
Gencovery invites CROs, pharma sponsors and academic institutions interested in joining the platform and participating in building tomorrow's digital standard for pre-clinical research.
